Wheel change or tire change, what’s the difference?
Wheel change
You have your own summer and winter wheels mounted on rims and just want to swap between them.

Tire change (swapping)
You have new tires and want to use the rims you already have.
- Old tires are removed from the rim
- New tires are fitted and balanced
- New valves if needed
Buy tires and have them fitted in the same visit

From old to new tires in four steps
Dismantling
The wheels are removed from the car, and the old tires are carefully removed from the rims.
Relocation
The new tires are fitted to the rims using a tire machine. The valves are inspected and replaced if necessary.
Balancing
Each wheel is balanced, so you won't experience vibrations in the steering wheel.
Assembly
The wheels are mounted using a torque wrench, and the tire pressure is adjusted.
Hvorfor fylle dekkene med nitrogen?
Nitrogen er en tørr og ren gass som siver langsommere ut gjennom gummien enn vanlig luft. Lufttrykket holder seg derfor stabilt lenger.
Stabilt lufttrykk
Trykket faller langsommere, så dekkene holder riktig trykk lenger.
Jevnere trykk i kulde og varme
Tørr gass uten fuktighet gir mindre trykkendring når temperaturen svinger.
Ingen fukt og korrosjon
Mindre fukt i hjulet skåner felg, ventil og TPMS-sensorer.
Lavere forbruk og slitasje
Riktig trykk gir lavere rullemotstand, jevnere slitasje og lengre levetid.

Takket være teknologien i servicebilen vår jobber vi svært stille. Vi bruker verken strømaggregat eller stor luftkompressor, så tjenesten kan utføres sent på kvelden og i helgene uten å forstyrre naboene.

Yes. When new tires are fitted to the rims, the wheels must be balanced, and this is included in the tire change.
Yes. We use equipment that protects the rim, and handle alloy wheels with extra care.
We’ll agree on that with you. You can keep them, or we can take them with us.
Yes. Order the tires from the online store, and if you live in Oslo and the surrounding area, we will deliver them directly and fit them on your rims during the same visit.
Changing four tires and balancing them usually takes a little over an hour, depending on the type of tires and wheels.
