Proper storage extends lifespan
Rubber ages more quickly in light, heat, and moisture. Therefore, we store your wheels in conditions that preserve their properties for the next season.
Dark
UV light breaks down the rubber. The wheels are stored away from direct sunlight.
Cool and stable
Even and low temperatures slow down the aging of the rubber.
Dry
Dry conditions protect rims and valves from corrosion.
Washed before storage
Road salt and dirt are washed away, so they don't cause corrosion for months.
Marked with position
Each wheel is marked so that the set can be rotated correctly at the next change.
Condition check
We measure the tread depth and check for damage every time the wheels come in.

Hvorfor fylle dekkene med nitrogen?
Nitrogen er en tørr og ren gass som siver langsommere ut gjennom gummien enn vanlig luft. Lufttrykket holder seg derfor stabilt lenger.

Trykket faller langsommere, så dekkene holder riktig trykk lenger.
Jevnere trykk i kulde og varme
Tørr gass uten fuktighet gir mindre trykkendring når temperaturen svinger.

The wheels are stored for one season at a time, from the tire change in autumn to the tire change in spring, or vice versa. The agreement is renewed season by season.
Yes, but most people choose to store complete wheels, because changing the wheels is then faster and the tires are better protected.
We measure the tread depth when the wheels come in. If they won't last another season, you'll be notified well in advance so you can order new tires.
Tire storage and a tire change can be combined in the same visit. What is included in the price is agreed upon when you book.
We pick up and deliver wheels in and around Oslo, within 50 km of Oslo.
